Perhaps we residents of New Mexico have other things to do than sit on the internet and hope that a "nice, smart really neat person" will fall out of the sky and whisk us away to a land of no worries and great affluence. To find the type of people that resonate with us requires that we spend a lot of time outdoors. At least being active as opposed to passive longing. Put simply, we ain't got the time.

I would have to agree with stgrizzvi. I didn´t even consider resorting to internet dating until after I moved from New Mexico. When I was there I always seemed to have something to do, and when I didn´t, I went out and found something. However, now that I have weeks on end of rain, in which just heading outside for some ¨fun in the sun¨ is not always possible, I have much more time for something like this.

It just reflects the low population density here. There are dozens of metropolitan areas in the US with more people than our entire state has! (And that's part of what I love about it!)

Home is Las Cruces, but bing in the Navy, I am in San Diego. I can't wait till I leave this place. Too many people. But yeah..... There are not enough New Mexicans on this site. Either no internet, no time, or just don't care about it. I would have never thought about getting on here till I moved from Cruces. I just don't have the time ot go out and find anyone. okay guys,,,,I am so jealous of you all. New Mexico is my favorite place on earth and someday I hope to move there myself....
I am so sick of the Michigan gray skies..I can probably count on one hand how many days of sunshine we have had since November....
