I had my entire Pink Floyd cd collection stolen a few weeks ago... along with about 75 other cd's and a subwoofer for my home stereo.... just was wondering how many other people out there has had something stolen from them that 'held value' to them :(

Sucks dude. Sorry to hear that. Cool you're a Floyd fan.

My favorite albums are Relics, Wish You Were Here, and Meddle, in that order (but I like any Floyd with Roger Waters). Not so fond of post Final Cut Floyd.

When I was in the Air Force, I had a bunch of bootleg CD's of various GnR concerts. Pricey f***ers; bought them from an underground label in Italy. Someone stole all of them (I was living in the dorms so it pretty much could've been anyone). Never replaced them -- still love GnR, but not the way I did back in the day.

My entire personal jounal collection (in other words...my life's work) from the time I was 9 up until about 3 years ago is in my ex-husbands custody...does that count? I'm lucky, however...I got custody of our daughter. Much more important.

Someone tried to run off with my Custom B.C. Rich Guitar one time at this club I was playing at. I put it down for a second in plain sight on the stage to go use the bathroom. Next thing I know, I come out to see some dude bolting towards the door grasping my beauty in his disgusting hands.

Good thing I threw a chair at him. My Guitar now has some really ugly nicks and scratches on it but is still in my Possession.

Thieves piss me off.

Had someone make off with my whole car stereo system. Had removed it from one car and had it boxed in my garage until I could get it installed into my other one and someone broke in and snagged it all. The made off with my amp, subwoofer and both speakers for my doors. Cost me about $1500. Talk about annoying, I did all the work of removing it from the car for them.

OMG! If somebody took my Floyd stuff I'd FREAK!

So SO sorry my friend!

Yes, I've had things with great value -- both monetary and sentimental -- stolen. It's a painful experience.

But you will recover and the memory will fade day by day. Hang in there.
