Twenty years after a botched order, a small Swedish city comes to the end of its long nightmare with...toilet paper. This article is too funny.

Never been to Sweden, but in my travels in Eastern Europe, the ladies' (and men's) rooms were "manned" by Svetlana of the Gulag. Two squares of single ply and no guff.

Toilet paper in Israel was really rough and hard. After two weeks I found that my butt had developed callouses!
When I taught at the community college a colleague (she's in the "from outside" picture) gave me pictures of an amazing public bathroom in Sweden.

I would never be able to pee in there.

There's a bar on Mercer where the doors are clear glass until you go inside and lock the door and then the door fills up with orange or purple colored smoke. It's very wierd.

Really? You mean Mercer street by NYU?
Talk about interesting bars, there's a bar in Stockholm that's made of ice. The walls, floor, counters, bar, etc are all made of ice. Gives new meaning to a vodka on the rocks.

There's a hotel and bar in Quebec also made of ice (although maybe not this winter)!
Yeah the place is on Mercer on the west side of the street between Broome and Spring.

YEA THERE IS A HOTEL THAT ITS ONLY MADE OF ICE IN SWEDEN I WILL ATTACH IT HERE SO THAT YOU CAN READ ABOUT IT
THE ICEHOTEL.COM is situated in the village JukkasjÀrvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. The heart and backbone is the River Torne flowing freely through the unspoilt wilderness. Covered with a meter thick ice layer winter time the river is the source of all our art, architecture and design. The pure water and the steady movement of the river creates the clearest ice possible.

This doesn't make the prospects of the Swedish ice hotel sound very promising.
