Warwick is also the only place to go to in the area that still has a drive in movie. I visited a few years ago, it was pretty nostalgic, except they played three movies back to back and I did not get home till 3am . Too much movies and driving for me for one night.

For those of us that make our living on the nation's highways, I sincerely hope that when you finally lose control of whatever redneck-mobile you drive, you don't take anyone out with you...innocent people shouldn't have to pay for the fact that you need to compensate for having certain...inadequecies.

Your mother must be so proud. Oh boy an early morning debate. I don't want to get on steveemac bad side, but I was cruising down the parkway Saturday, kept the cruise control on 80mph and felt like I was doing no more then 20. If you have a car that's designed for control & speed and their is no one on the road and YOU KNOW what your doing then it's fine. Not sure in the above case it was , but I know my car is perfectly capable at driving fast and stopping on a dime.

Who are you kidding? lol The big attractions are the Millcreek mall, Tinseltown, and Waldameer....which is closed for the season.
...doing 130 in a 65? Wow, that's impressive. I think I just creamed my panties actually. No wonder you like PA, most of them drive like a bunch of idiots. Then again when you take your "driving test" on a closed course and parallel park in between two cones I guess you'll have that.

Oops, I should explain so the rednecks know that I am really a responsible driver when I am on ANY highway. I have never gotten a speeding ticket and have no criminal record, I have a few parking tickets and paid a fine years ago. I get a 30% discount on my automobile insurance for being an accident FREE safe driver and also a 35% discount for being a Designated Driver because I do not drink and drive.. My Car is very capable of doing close to 200 mph anywhere at all.. I just don't choose to go that fast in populated areas or when other vehicles are around.. I drive/"pilot"a great looking '66 Corvette Stingray Numbers Matching Sports Coupe.. IT is finished in Nassau Blue w/Black Leather Interior and LOADED.. Factory installed 4-spd., 427/530 H.P. engine, Posi Rearend, Tilt-Tele Teakwood steering wheel, Tinted Glass, Knock-off wire wheels, side mounted exhaust pipes, Factory A/C, Power windows, steering, brakes, and seats, original AM/FM Radio, and an electric antennae too boot! Top speed is close to 200 mph on a closed road course.. This car is an overall #1 vehicle and has won quite a few car shows.. Book price on a #1 car is $63,000.00 I bought it new from Chevrolet in December 1966 when I got discharged from the military for $4265.00 !

If you have a car that's designed for control & speed and their is no one on the road and YOU KNOW what your doing then it's fine. I don't know what standards the parkway you were on was constructed to, but the Interstate system was constructed to design standards that allow a MAXIMUM safe operating speed of 100mph, so I ain't exactly mad at you, Cynthia, for eight-oh; but 130? Odds are that, sooner or later, somebody's gonna die-no matter how the car is designed or how good a driver someone thinks they are.
