Weather is crappy out today, it feels like I'm in a bowl of hot soup. I can't have a good hair moment no matter how hard I've tried to brush it today. Anyway were in for storms tonight, anyone have anything interesting they are doing this evening?
Me, I have 20 minutes more to go at work then I'm off to take the girls for gymnastics tonight, go look at some more Halloween Costumes, then....all I want to do is crawl into a hot shower and get into bed

Well guess I should retract this forum title, it was almost 80 degrees today. This stinks I put all my summer clothes away, I was crawling through closet today desperate to find some sandals. I want Fall to really come and I want to start wearing boots and sweaters!!!!!

I have the Apple Cinnamon Candles burning........MMMMMMM and yesterday I made a mean Butternut and apple soup................... DAYUM.........It is GOOOOOOD!

Yeah I don't know if it's allergies but everyone is feeling yucky. I was kinda blah this whole week, but no cold or anything like that. I'm just glad to get the humidity out of the air and smell that nice crisp Fall smell.

Well usually as the kids go back to school and are stuffed in to a stuffy bldg without good clean air... we start getting the colds, and flus........I would say we are on schedule ( a lil behind actually, prob from the warm air they had windows open longer.) But I was expecting someone to come home sick. Just not me........

I don't know where you live but I live in Upstate new York and the weather here is always YUCKY!!! I would really like to move from here and maybe go to a warmer climate but I have commitments keeping me here. I just returned from visiting my son and his family in Florida and it was TO HOT THERE!!! I would not like to live where the weather is so hot you have to live in air conditioning. They have no seasons there and I love a white Christmas!!!

I know upstate is pretty bad with the cold weather and snow, I would not want to live their either. I almost did live in Florida but could not stand the humidity and the lifestyle. Love to visit, but don't want to live their. I'll stay in NY, suits me just fine..it pouring rain this morning and a little on the chilly side, but hey its' November that's how it should be.

I despise the snow because I hate being cold. I live in western NY, about 1.5 hours from Buffalo. The weather here seems to fluctuate a lot. Right now we are getting hit with some nasty lake effect crap (I live near Chautauqua Lake). ...I was really hoping the snow would hold off until December this year. I knew that it was wishful thinking. I remember feet of snow by the time Halloween came around because as kids we trudged through it to go trick or treating. So, I guess we're lucky that the flurries are just now beginning. Even though I hate the snow, I think I might miss it if I lived somewhere that it didn't snow. Weird, I know. teehee

Well here's a recipe to warm ya up, I just made it for the girls and I. Ghiradelli hot chocolate with a candy cane stirrer and a marshmellow on top. It gets the chills out on these kinda nights.

Yeah, I saw on the news last night that parts of Jersey and New York received upwards of 4" of snow. Nothing here, but I did bring in my herb garden for the year.
