If you haven't had a chance to visit the Bronx Botanical Gardens and see the new exhibit of Japanese mums, do yourself a big favor and go. They are absolutely gorgeous. They also have an exhibit of bonsai trees as well, which were also wonderful.

It's always too crowded whenever I try to go, only time I have is on a Sunday . We see the parking lot and turn right around and go somewhere else.

Cyn,
Take the train. It drops you right across the street from the Mosholu exit.

I know Eastham, but I don't do the train . I'm sorry, you know I don't mean it that way(acting snobbish). I'm a driver, I don't care how congested some place is or how long it takes for me to find parking, because I pay too damn much for my car not to drive it everywhere, I can't stand public transportation. I hate schedules and all that, I just like to hop in my car and get somewhere. I'll try to get their, sounds like a beautiful exhibit, I just have to get an early start...pick ya up on the way over

Yes, I have never lived in LA, but everyone tells me you get in your car to drive down the block, lol. I do walk alot, but like I said I love to drive my car and I won't take public transportation. It was a real hassle last time I took my little one on a bus excursion, we were standing out in the cold and had no clue that our bus to go home drove right by, we had to stand their another hour which felt like a day, she was so tired and worn out from walking around the city the entire day I thought the poor thing was going to collapse, it was too far to walk to the train, it was the holidays so there wasn't a cab to be had. We had to wait and when we finally got home our legs felt like they were numb. I would have been better off just driving and paying for parking.
