My son loves history.... so today were heading out to do the Heritage tour in nyc. They do it in conjunction with the History channel... the guide is all dressed up. Should be fun. :)

Wish I could go, mine are not off, private schools already had their vacation.
Cute tour we did recently was
Washington Irving's Home
Little old ladies lead the tour in historical outfits.

When I was a kid, my parents took us to Sleepy Hollow, Van Cortlandt Manor and Phillipsburg Manor on a Saturday afternoon. Great time.

When I was young we went to the Bronx Zoo on Sunday's...have you been there lately? I go every so often and I never see much anymore, plus it's a FORTUNE, an easy $100 day.

I never got back about the tour we took. It was nice, wasn't extensive or expensive.
It was nice ...we learned a few things, was a beautiful day. Only problem was it was during the week, and we were the only ones on the "trolley" so we got all the guides attention, but it the middle of "earth week" I felt bad we used up all that gas and pollution with just us on the bus :(
