I go every year and have a blast. It's also a little celebration for the girls last day of school and my birthday. LOL, i havent to been to battery park in years.it was a great place to take a chick after going to eat in chinatown,but since i have a weakness for swedish women, i will make the trip to BatteryPark to see the event.   Jun 19 @ 1:47 PM Swedish Midsummer...     Nordicman Posts: 21 Norway also celebrates Midsummer, maybe not to the extent that the Swedes do. Norwegians generally celebrate the shortest night of the year with bonfires along their rocky coastline, as well as dancing, smorgasbords, drinking and love. Skaal!
