HI all, looks like we just may be in for a lovely weekend. How much better can you get, the 4th being on a Friday
Any exciting events going on around town that you know of?
I LOVE escaping the suburbs and coming into the city for the 4th, usually never encounter a bit of traffic and all the restaurants are cleared out, you can eat wherever you want without a wait. Gotta love all those city dwellers that escape on outta here

Well, Cyn, since youre such a positive person, I wont go there- but you're right- the city rocks in the summer- and I love it most in the middle of the night- Its mine then.

positive yep, thats me When all the tourists are in NY during the Christmas season then I won't go anywhere near any major attractions. I mean you've seen the Rockefeller Center Tree and all that a few times in your life you don't need to see it again. But this time of year when its nice and empty you really can explore and appreciate it more. Also the fireworks on Friday can usually be seen no matter where you are, hey just look up in the sky, there they are

I can see alot of fireworks from where I live, I think the raceway was blasting off fireworks last night, from 9-10 I heard booming. Couldn't see anything, but heard it.
I'm going to hang out watch the Macys fireworks down by the water, I heard the director on the news say that this year they traveled all over the world to find unique fireworks that none in this country has ever seen. I was just in Disney last month watching fireworks every night so I usually don't get all thrilled about going to see them, but I'm actually really excited this year to go
Everyone have a good one!!!!

Yeah, I got to watch them "live", well with an umbrella then back into the nice air conditioning to see the finale on TV Still turned out to be a nice celebration.
