Posts: 6 In the summer I begin the season in Southampton, long Island. I have this yearly dream job of getting a big old colonial house ready for rental. Over the years of tender-loving-care, I have come to regard this place as my own- so I,
poor artist that I am, I get to hang out with the snobs in "The Hamptons".
This should be a reality TV show....
Needless to say im lonely as F--- out here in all of this opulence, jumping from sofa to pool to hottub to sofa. I am getting a great deal done creatively-
writing some great new music. I cant help but imagine how fine it would be to get a visitor....

Posts: 212 I dig creative hippie freaks that poke fun at the bourgeoisie. You should check out the North Shore poetry scene. They add a bit of much needed working-class energy to said area...and the poetry is actually tolerable! There's an organic veggie stand out there in South Hampton that's my fave...they're bio-dynamic.

I'm jealous of your big old colonial house rental.
