i bring fruits to the movies

no, no Clearview on Central Ave. Scarsdale/Yonkers area, good popcorn 
OMG, off topic, but I had to turn my cell phone off this deranged women I was suppose to train tonight never showed up, now Im ticked off and don't want to talk to her and she wont stop calling me

in my area, we have AMC, Regal cinemas. uptown, the Lincoln Plaza Cinemas which shows indie and foreign films
and oops. we DO have a clearview on lincoln center too. a single theater 62nd and Bway which too shows an indie/foreign film
now it is showing IN SEARCH OF A MIDNIGHT KISS

I saw WALL-E again tonight...I'm just such a sucker for a feel good, wholesome movie  Cable TV exposes us to too much violence, profanity, etc.
You know I watch a lot of news and I deal with a lot of stress all day long (well who dosent, I'm no different than anyone else) however I feel that when I end my day with a long walk in the woods or a feel good movie I can go to sleep peaceful at night and not have any disturbing dreams.
I guess your going to have to do all the R rated reviews and I'll stick to the G ratings

I have many favorites, I have BBC. I pay a fortune for cable so I have every channel
I enjoy the Travel & History channel alot, of course I have all the HBO's pretty good, Starz.
I've been enjoying the Olympics all this week  Go USA!!!!

no, have not read yet, I'm still trying to get through my summer reading beach book  ...actually I have 2 books one is almost done, another is so thick I've been working on it for a long time now. I fall asleep every time I read

the new harry potter movie was supposed to come out this thanksgiving. well in case you have not heard, warner bros has cancelled the date and pushed it to july 17, 2009. hmm, WB released DARK KNIGHT july 18 this year and look at it now, $470 million and growing. so next year, they want a new DK -like champ. pretty soon, i will have the fall movie lineup but right now, ONE film stands out-i won't type the title it does come out:11/7/007

i only saw the 1st 2.

I have not seen the Potter films on "the big screen", however since my daughters read the books whenever one of the movies is on cable we watch it and I am very impressed with the special effects. I'll admit I don't have any time to read the books, although they are right in my house. Maybe when I retire.

Hey all of the previews from the movies the other day showed everything good coming out in November.
My friends at work who do not celebrate Christmas have a big joke that the thing they do on Christmas Day is go to a Chinese restaurant and the movies
.
I try during the holiday season to take a break from all the holiday craziness to catch a movie or 2, but I usually don't get around to it until the cold, dreary January weather sets in.

embarrassing moment for entertainment weekly magazine's fall movie preview: harry potter is on the cover but last nite, the studio announced the potter movie change while the mags were being sent out to newsstands and homes. so now, there's a movie that won't come out this fall. oh boy. at least daniel radcliffe has a play coming out EQUUS soon on broadway. i think this is the one where he is nude in once scene

sad time this weekend on tv: 
the final show of EBERT AND ROEPER with guest critic mike phillips. i hope richard roeper comes back with a new show soon. it will air saturday at 2:30 pm on channel 10/55 and sunday at 6:30 pm on ch 5. i haven't missed a siskel and ebert and roeper and guest critics show since 1980! even if the show was on at the wee hrs of sunday morning to monday, i catch it or tape it. the best movie review show ever!

FLY ME TO THE MOON'S animation looks horrible and made no $$$ this weekend. sorry to say that

movies:
as i said no Harry Potter till 2009! one of 3 high profile films pushed till '09: the other 2 , tom cruise in VALKYRIE and the revamped STAR TREK. YAY! Good Riddance!
potter's bump is now good news for 007, vince vaughn's 4 CHRISTMASES, disney's animated BOLT (trailer is horrible!) , MADAGASCAR 2 and even----TRANSPORTER 3 all opening between 11/7 and 11/26. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR?  the first 2 aired on the disney channel. it's the end of the world as we know it and i don't feel so good now
hmm, i had to put this title here: ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO with seth rogen directed by kevin smith opening halloween, rated G! oops! surely an R but it was given an original NC 17 before cuts were made. strangely SAW 5  comes out the week before.
the only Marvel hero coming out this winter: THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE dec 5 with ray richardson as the vigilante pumping a bajillion bullets and bombs a minute.
