 HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!!!!! Even my kids don't like that stupid show. I'm so glad I won't have to go through that torture. I'll never forget to this day taking my kids years ago with my sister to see Mike Myers in "The Cat in The Hat" I had thoughts of jumping off the balcony just so I could end the pain....we both spent the entire time running to the lobby to make phone calls to friends just so Iwe wouldnt have to watch the movie. My daughters sat there laughing like you wouldnt believe. 
I'm only going to see the moon pic because its the only new kids flick playing at the theater we go to, so I figured why not...I'm not expecting much out of it, seen all the previews.

BTW as Bad as you think "Bolt" trailer looks, whats worst is I'll most likely have to sit through "Beverly Hill Chiuaha" 
I'll make sure I'm drunk before I go  or I'll just bring a bottle of rum with me, LOL

that was gruesome! and i hated THE GRINCH too.

OH! channel 9 here is showing JAWS 1 TO 4 tomorrow to friday nites at 8. tonite is the NY Giants game on MY9. part 3 not in 3D on tv but i assume the fullscreen reception will be a horrible one.

How she did that movie is beyond me, she was so excellent in "The Others"
ok, here it goes, got back tonight from "Fly Me to The Moon"
took my daughters and their friend who I believe had more fun munching food then actually watching the movie.
Anyway.......lets just say that since I"m a good mom and only take my kids to "G" or "PG" rated family films that this was a "cute" little family cartoon. And lets leave it at that, because I'm being very kind here.
I'm not sure whats going on with every single movie coming out in 3D now, but this movie was in 3D and I suppose the few cute scenes that came shooting at you where probably what saved this movie.

Please do, LOL, I totally left out the part about the maggots. When they first came on the screen my daughter goes "what are those" and I say Larvae, LOL
then the movie said MAGGOTS and I said jeez, they made flies and maggots cute 
Because lets admit, there is nothing cute about flies, maggots, etc. perhaps a lady bug or even a spider could be cuter

i agree ladybugs are cute
but the animated spider in the recent CHARLOTTE'S WEB voiced by julia roberts was godawful and creepy. i loved the 70s version of WEB== when the mama spider died, i cried as did the pig. used to be shown a lot on ch 5 long before Fox5 in the 70s.

oh yeah, look at richard roeper's black suit. it was the final show for him and mike phillips and he didn't say farewell, looked like he was ready for a funeral.

have you ever heard of the movie "The Visitation" 2006, I downloaded it and now I'm waiting until later tonight to watch it. I heard its really good.
I also recently got introduced to "The Sentinel" what a great movie that is!!! Now every time I pass the building in Brooklyn Heights where it was filmed I get all creeped out.

No haven't heard of that movie
i heard of the 70s THE SENTINEL and kiefer sutherland did a DC action thriller named-----THE SENTINEL. but not horror. just kiefer doin' his jack bauer thing.
saturday i hope to see TROPIC THUNDER. DEATH RACE i am skipping, a loose remake of another 70s actioner with david carradine and a young stallone.

oh yeah Jaws3 is real real bad
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
I won't be on much during the day, I'm on vacation until Sept 2nd, I'm extremely burnt out and mentally drained from a lot of crap going on, I'm snapping at everyone and I really need time to unwind. I'm going to try and "relax" but thats a tough one, I have a list of things I have to do, appts to be made and ..... 
I'm getting exhausted just thinking about it.....maybe after a good nights sleep, some asshole was outside fighting early this morning and woke me up out of a dead sleep. I really need a good nights rest. I took this 2 hour long walk in the woods tonight to try and release all the tension and it worked for a while, but when I found myself alone and it was pitch dark I got really anxious and couldn't seem to get back home fast enough. I felt really vulnerable and know I pushed myself too much to stay out that long. I swear one day your going to hear about me on the news, single mom of 2 found strangled in woods  ,,,just kidding, I'll probably die of thirst before that, but I really should go walking with someone, not alone. Only one of my daughters will come with me and she did not want to tonight.

TROPIC THUNDER: an incredibly hilarious movie well done by ben stiller, his best film to date
BIG LAUGHS NONSTOP from start to finish! tom cruise as a bald, fat, very hairy, cursing, sweaty, rap dancing movie mogul: OMFG! whoop whoop! whatta comeback! and there is a funny , filthy , raunchy line from jack black while being tied to a tree suffering from heroin withdrawal , i laughed so hard i almost fell down the steps and robert downey jr what a year! he deserves Oscar consideration here! ok, i am outta breath
time to head to Roosevelt Hospital for some oxygen

I'm not sure if I'm even going to get to a movie this week, so far I'm only 3 days into my vacation and I'm exhausted, sick and broke!!!!!
I've been running myself ragged and have not relaxed once.
Friday I drove and hour 1/2 to a country fair, walked around all day with just one little break to sit down before I fainted, the drive back home got to me, then if that weren't' enough the kids talked me into a late night swim at the pool club, well between being exhausted and not eating I got really sick on the way home from swimming.
Spend Saturday exhausting myself with chores and stuff and today I attempted to relax at the beach but my daughter was bored so I kept walking around with her trying to find seashells and popping seaweed.
But anyway I find myself unwinding now so I thought I would log on...same ole going on on here.
Definitely going to see Tropic Thunder...my god everyone is so offended by it, give me a break, since when was comedy politically correct?

nicholas cage in BANGKOK DANGEROUS: awful trailer, awful poster
my coworker ordered a GIANT poster picture of the 1932 cult hit REEFER MADNESS, about marujuana. ah, the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS of its time. saw it a long time ago in the wee hours on PBS channel 21. ok movie. forgot to ask how much he paid for it.
