Thanks Terry ... I'm new to G'boro, but have been in NC since 2000. Finally escaped from the nasty Northeast, where I had been trapped by the ex-, and came back to where my family is.
Siblings are in the RTP area; my folks live in Beaufort NC but haven't been down there in quite some time. My grandparents had a place in Manteo, but never got a chance to see it. I hear that area is pretty.

and how are things back in my old home town anyway ?? .... get someone to take you to Yum Yum's over on Spring Garden Street .... just off UNC-G campus ... best ice cream in town !

I love Monterey Mexican restaurant on Battleground...  I haven't been there in almost 2 years.. I ate there often when I was living in Greensboro.. I hated the traffic in Greensboro.. but dang.. I sure miss all the great places to eat..with gas prices the way they are, I just can't drive there as much as I would like anymore

hey ya Grace ,thanks for the response,it's a pleasure to meet you,the Ocean is a great place and it is beautiful here ,especially the sunrise and the sunset both are awesome.Am a fisherman and am very familiar with the Beaufort,Morehead City,Atlantic Beach areas,as well as Wilmington,all beautiful places,but ain't no place like home,lol.just thought I'd drop you a few lines Peace out,God Bless,Terry
