I hope I'm not being a wet blanket here, but this is what I have to say.
Crack and heroine dealers deliver what they promise. They promise that if you use the drug, you will feel high. (no personal experience with these SPECIFIC drugs, but, apearantly, their customers agree, cause the stuff sells).
Drugs are only good while you are on them (bands only love you when they are playing)
I ve made 2k a week for years on end, then I became self employed, and one month last year, made 100k in less than a month, before tax net!!! it was a rush.
Money is only good till you spend it.
Love is about integrity. Simple word, simple concept. Integrity means having no gaps, no holes, no emptinesses.
Integrity is about me. I'm not complete, I'm certainly not perfect, I'm an ass and a jerk in many ways.
That Robert Redford movie... watched it the first night, I watched it the second night, and I caught myself begging them not to do it.
That was compromise, they compromised the integrity of their relationship with each other.
Integrity and compromise can not exist together. Not in this subject, certainly it can if you are asking do you want broccoli of cabbage with dinner, that is about dinner.
I'll learn to cook roadkill before I'd let my honey sell her heart for a quarter pounder for her starving family before I let her sell her soul or her body for a gazillion dollars that will buy us nothing but stuff to distract us from what we did to get the gazillion dollars in the first place. She might wake up and say, "ass hole, we're broke!" but I'll answer, Yes baby, but we like waking up together.
PS I've been bankrupt, but never broke.

Nope, I wouldn't do it for a million dollars. I wouldn't do it for one dollar or ten or 75 million. Money is just not that important.
I don't have sex with a guy as payment for his having done something for me, nor as a favor to him. When I have sex with a man it's because we have a mutual desire to be with each other...paying for it/accepting payment for it, is degrading.
But let's not get off on that tangent again, okay?
