Wedsnesday nights is my girls night. Each Wedsnesday we discuss different topics, current events, etc... at our last girls night the topic was: swallowing and the taste of sperm..... (guess who started this topic hihihihi)
Many of them complain about the taste of sperm.... bitter, salty, tastes like mayo (that's a weird one, but it does make sense) ... Just the thought of giving head to their husbands/fiances/boyfriends, each *fearing* the liquid explosion taste in their mouths LOL.... refuse to go down on their man...
With my experience... I too have tasted bitter sperm..... I am a trooper  a good swig of mouthwash takes care of the aftertaste LOL.... So I did some searching on the net and found some informative info.....
P.S. I have printed the list below for my next girls night..... LOL oh my I think they will love me..... or.......... revoke my membership to girls night 
Tips for Better Tasting Semen
1. Cut out alcohol, caffeine, recreational drugs and nicotine their all pollutants.
2. Drink lots of water 1 – 2 liters a day to flush out body toxins.
3. Fruit get plenty each day and sweeten your sperm taste Pineapple, papaya cranberry, melons, mangos, apples grapes are all good choices. These fruits are high in natural sugars and offset the bitter taste.
4. Eat plenty of vegetables which are generally good for improving sperm taste.
5. While it is true vegetarians generally have better tasting sperm there are vegetables to avoid:
Any vegetables from the cabbage family big offenders also include Cauliflower, broccoli, or asparagus:
6. Cut red meat consumption this is one of the main offenders when it comes to making sperm taste salty. Dairy produce such as milk and cheese also make sperm taste salty. Make sure when you eat protein you get good quality lean protein such as chicken and turkey.
Fish is claimed by some to be an offender in terms of taste, but this seems to vary between individuals. Try it and see the affects before cutting it out, fish is a major part of a healthy diet, so don’t cut it out!
7. Avoid heavy spices such as Garlic and onions, their big offenders when it comes to sperm taste, as they have a high sulfur content.
8. Don't buy products that claim to make your semen taste better there is no evidence that they work. Your semen can be made to taste better by overall changes in diet and lifestyle, it’s a complex formula and a good healthy diet has the biggest affect.
9. Parsley, wheatgrass, and celery are particularly recommended for sweeter semen taste, because of their high chlorophyll content.
10. Cinnamon, cardamom, peppermint and lemon are particularly recommended for making semen taste sweeter.
11. Avoid junk food, there loaded with chemicals and preservatives that pollute your body and your semen’s taste.

You'll find that it tastes bitter because your taste buds are at the tip of your tongue and not the back of your throat. Which is where it usually ends up. Also drinking lots of pineapple juice can make it taste sweet er. Or so Im told...................

This reminded me of the Sex and the City episode - Funky Spunk. The expression on Samatha's face when she took a load was priceless. She looked like she was going to throw up. I'm glad I never had any complaints.
I wonder if this diet helps make better smelling farts too. That would be a nice side effect.

Crack me up!!
Personally, I don't mind the taste, pretty bland. BUT...it has a tendency to literally numb the inside of your mouth. Anyone else experience that? It doesn't taste salty, sweet or bitter...just numbs the buds right off my tongue.
Now "pre-cum"...THAT is salty. Ummmmm.

Gem, great ideas but I like the taste except for beer, and dope, almost anything else I can handle, or err could, I find its full of protein and very good for your skin, when swallowed of course.

I like the salty taste of pre-cum. It keeps me going for more. I try to take it at the back of my mouth when I swallow cuz it is bitter and kinda weird tasting.
Does anyone else love the smell though?

just numbs the buds right off my tongue. last time I felt a numbing it was in my tonsils (btw what a load it was LOL )... he was a tea drinker... could be the caffeine
I find its full of protein and very good for your skin Pixie, I definitely agree with you

So, in turn, what makes a woman taste better? Just last week, also on the internet, I read the same list of things for a woman to change her scent and taste - if that helps.
a good swig of mouthwash takes care of the aftertaste LOL Coca-a-cola will do the same thing.

I've never noticed cigs or caffeine having a bad affect. Maybe because I smoke and drink coffee? I do know a lot of fried food makes for nasty tasting and smelling cum. Bring on the pineapple!
