I've never asked and I've never told...Why would someone even want to know "how many lovers before me have you had?" What good could possibly come out of knowing?

Same here...I'm not gonna ask, nor am I gonna tell.
In fact, I would probably be insulted if asked this., simply because the past is behind us and the future is what we should consentrate on.

when asked this I usually respond with .. "Enough..why??"  or if im feeling frisky "never enough  "

I don't understand that either. I personally don't want to know who my boyfriend's boinked before me, but that's just me. However, I had an ex who asked me. I guess he felt it was something he needed to know.
