 Hi everyone.........now I will admit to finding many of the sex threads and topics and jokes quite hysterical around here, and, perhaps SOME of the flirting that goes on within reason.  Some of it, of course, goes way overboard, but, I'm sure many of us feel that way, and just don't have to read about it, and to each his own. 
As much as I can laugh as other people, and, find humor in some of this, I still believe that sex should be a very private matter reserved for two people and what happens in the bedroom should remain there. It also makes me sad to see some women using thier sexuality to such an extreme that it makes me wonder what else they feel they have to offer. 
Does anyone feel sex should remain a private issue anymore?
Does anyone feel the sexual flirting goes overboard or is it just fun and harmless?

I believe that if you care to share your sexual excursions with people and the participating reader care to continue to read with no precaution to content then I don't see anything wrong with it at all. I am very open about all my escapades and if someone is interested to know how I conducted myself sexually then knock yourself out.

ur absolutely right, waiting. we dont openly discuss everything of our lives because it isn't necessary; its distateful and some things r not meant 2 b shared with the world period; sex is one of them. its nothing to be ashamed of, and its not anything the rest of the world needs to know. as my friend used to say, ppl who r truly getting busy don't feel the need to brag about it.
there r always things that r better left 2 the imagination, n intimacy is one of those things.

Waiting, I'm with ya on the explicit sex talk. I'm sure some on here have a very exuberant and wild sex life. I'm happy and more than a little jealous, but do I really need to know the specifics of your latest hot conquest or how much your one night stand is "into" you. Ahhh, no. To me it's just an ego trip and rubbing salt into the psyche of the ones that are single and alone (we're so sensitive ~ sniffles...lol).
But I also see the need for people to ask for honest advice adn seek insight about their partners sexual behavior, and of course to joke around. I mean, geez, if we did away with the Sex Forum what the heck will single dad DO????

I think the animal thing should not be a topic for discussion but that would conflict with what I just said in a previous post. Yes, I think that is going to far but I read it so I'm at fault for my devilish curiosity

Hey Mo...I agree with the Jealousy thing you were talking about but I think the sex thread should stay cause that's what it's there for. I view it as the same thing as reading penthouse forums or something to that nature except you kinda get to know the people on these threads a little better then you do the character portrayed in the penthouse forums. Which leads me to my next question  Can you get to know someone so well that you become more like a brother and sister to them and is that what most of us has done on here?

Yes spongebob. Some of the thread in the sex topic has been locked down...Do yall remember the "anal lickers" thread? It was locked and quite a few others. None has been locked recently though.

I feel comfortable with some flirting but some times what I read does make me a little uncomfortable, and than I just choose not to read anything more when things seem to be getting a little too "involved"....
And on certain sex threads, if the question or topic feels way too personal for me to feel comfortable commenting on I just won't comment.....
But on basic, general, or more universal sex themes I'm ok with that....it can be both fun and funny .
I'm ok with themes that simply don't cross my personal boundaries relative to what I'm willing to share or comment on. I guess each one of us has to decide where our boundaries start and/or end. I'm pretty clear about my own.

I agree with Waiting............while visiting the sex forum, I was pretty shocked to read some things what people were posting but to each his own. I may have an opinion on some issues but opt to remain private about certain things. When it gets too explicit....I wonder what people are trying to prove and who they are trying to impress.....for me, I wouldn't be impressed at all but that's just me.
