I guess I would have to agree with WaterFire. IF you have the imagination, daydreams can be much more thrilling. Night dreams can become night mares...so that's no fun. Occasionally night dreams can be so wonderful that you don't want to wake up because they take you to places where you would never be able to imagine in the day.
Still...my vote is on day dreams.

I awoke from a wet dream this morning. My pillow was soaked from crying. Not the kind of wet dream I was hoping for. LOL

For some reason for the past year or so my night dreams usually turn into night terrors! So I'd have to vote for day dreams also. At least then I can be sure of a happy ending.

I don't believe I've had any daydreams, but nearly EVERY night, my dreams are so vivid, that I often think I'm leading a double life.

I sorta agree with DarkMechanic, although I do daydream. However, I have very vivid dreams at night. I can usually remember them in great detail when I wake up. Strange, weird, amusing, scary, thought-provoking. Almost like an acid trip sometimes. Mrs. Bacon is amazed when I relate my dreams to her over morning coffee, she dreams, but usually can't remember them very well. Mine are almost like I am living a totally different life when I sleep. Way different from the daydreams I have, which are more mundane, predictable and not nearly so interesting.

NITE!! That's when the hot stuff comes.
DAYDREAMS are very strange for me. I dream of the craziest things during a nap.
