Years ago, I was a dancer in (i guess you could call it) a "strip club". Full frontal, etc.
People were always supercritical about my occupation. They saw it as "exploiting my body".
I thought of it as "making really good money".
What are your thoughts?
Is it wrong to use what God gave you to make a living?
Or is it someting that should be frowned upon, and nudity should be kept private?

Here's an example....I was dancing at one particular club one night. As part of a male review. crazy drunk women, bachelorette parties...
Worked the pole, humped the stage, etc.
I remember one night we had "themes" and I was the "ice cream truck driver".
I did my thing, rolled in chocolate sauce. Let ladies spray whipped cream on my dangly bits....
They'd hoot and hollar and throw their money around.....
These women would try to get all touchy....(which is totally against the rules, and I'd motion to the bouncer and they'd get escorted out)
These SAME women would cause a scene yelling how cheap I was, and that I should be ashamed, etc.
WTF...you were just spraying whipped cream on my junk,, and NOW you judge??

I really don't know what to say about this thread, goose. My first reaction was, yeah, right.... and I used to be a ballet dancer. Personally, I wouldn't have paid a dime to see you nude.... but if you got it, flaunt it. Why'd you get out of the business?

I guess I got out of it because of the stigma that comes with the whole "stripper" occupation. We make money. It's our job. I got paid to show the elephant.
Now, I've NEVER been judgemental, and I've only accepted cash for sex a few times. But when a fella can provide something for someone for a nominal fee, why not?
Most women who go to these clubs are lonely and missing something at home.
I was a "happiness provider". Just like a massage. Stress relief for these women I suppose.
I really think I saved quite a few marrages doing what I did....
They would take what they learned, and really spiced up their love lives at home.
Like a physical marrage therapist.....

I did have a job at a gay bar for a while. Most of them were very respectful to me.
Although once in a while, one would "get fresh", and have to be escorted out, but overall they were a very good crowd.

I can only recall ONE time while dancing in the gay bar that went a little too far. I'm not proud of it by any means. Actually I'm a little ashamed that I did what I did...
But I'll just chalk that up to young experimentation.

I olny knew of one that was gay where I worked. We called him "baby" Cause that's how he was hung (7lbs 7 oz)
Guy would run around the dressing room trying to start a "sword fight".
