So...
You're out on a first date... and the conversation, the company, the air... whatever it is, seems to affect you... and you get wood... just when you must stand up.
Your next move is: (Select one. If "OTHER", please elucidate.)
A. Untuck your shirt, and take your chances.
B. Pick up the menu, covering yourself as you walk away.
C. Use your cell phone to call in a bomb threat to create a diversion
D. You proudly whisper to your date, she has an incredible effect on you... and you can't really stand up right now... and if she doesn't believe you, she can check for herself... visually or by touch.
E. You think of garbage, baseball, or Rosie ODonnell to "un-excite"you.
F. OTHER
I will reveal the absolutely correct answer in an upcoming message... or maybe not.

A. Untuck your shirt, and take your chances.
B. Pick up the menu, covering yourself as you walk away.
It's still obvious (though some women find that "cute", so you might as well do:
D. You proudly whisper to your date, she has an incredible effect on you... and you can't really stand up right now...
I'd drop the offer of her checking for herself (that might get you into the area of things men do that annoy women!)
C. Use your cell phone to call in a bomb threat to create a diversion
I can see where the thought might cross your mind, however, she might think it strange that you suddenly drop to the floor "looking for your fork" so she doesn't hear the call !
E. You think of garbage, baseball, or Rosie ODonnell to "un-excite"you.
Does/would that REALLY work?!?!?!?!?!?
Pete......the slow dance idea is very smooth and just might work to your advantage!!!

If she is going to notice it she will have all ready targeted it. Other wise it is the least on he mind. Any way I have noticed ladys with staring problems too. Down there any way.

of course you could just stand up and the woman could use the famous Mae West quote "Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"... LOL I love it when a man is happy to see me... Especially when I want him to be that happy....

Well, you could choose F, other. And very casually ask if she'd care to walk in front of you ..or heck, no need to ask...isn't the lady supposed to be escorted sort of...and would normally walk in front in a crowded place. 'Course, with my curiosity, I'd be wanting to know why...me, oh, my, why???

Tried the slow dance. Worked like a charm.
Thanks Pete. I WOODn't have tried it otherwise. It is absolutely the best answer.
By the way, we didn't actually slow dance... but stood, hugging at the ocean's side, night wind blowing... and the rocking back and forth became... well...
quite the event. It was like a slow dance though.

Nature is nature. Let nature take its course (no pun intended) and see where the chips may fall .
Any respectful woman, or any woman with a sense of humor is not going to bring attention to the situation and is not going to embarrass you by pointing out the obvious even if it might be kinda funny.
Wouldn't recommend the bomb threat thing though. I know the situation could seem like a dire one but ya don't need a felony record over a woody

Even though this is the "X" thread, I'm not going to reveal what came (pardon the pun) to my mind with "wood chips"!!
