OK, let's say your young coworkers have sex in an "off limts" storage room at the office. They do the deed after hours when no one is there but they are on the clock. To them everything seemed benign except for the hidden security cameras that recorded the whole thing. No one knew it was there and it recorded some very good details. What would you do with the video? Destroy it? Would you mention it to them?
(Oh yeah, it has perfect audio too!)

Depends on whether or not you like them ... and if they were any good ... 
naw seriously, having done this on more than one occasion .... they are pretty vulnerable if they are not aware of the system, and the next time they may not have someone "understanding" who sees the tape or catches them ... I'd take one or the other (or both) aside and let them know that the cameras are everywhere ... and that you've made sure the tape is "lost" ...
Ethics suck, I know ... lol

I think a LOT of people have done something like this at work at one time or another, I know I have...but not lately, well not on the clock anyway....one of the first things to learn on a new job is where the security cameras are...

Well, I really meant a little slap and tickle at work and less getting caught on tape, if I want video I'd rather record in a more private setting..

I'd say they get fired. If they aren't working while they are being paid to work, they are stealing from their employer.
Fire them, save the video for your defense in the lawsuit...

Actually, summersquall is correct. I don't know of many HR policies that include having sex with a coworker in the job description. And no, this doesn't fall under "pay for performance", either. You need to go through your company's written employment policies to be sure what to do. Otherwise, I would talk to someone in HR that you can trust.
I say this because is possible that if it happens again and someone finds out that you have been aware of it, you could be in trouble your Self for not reporting it.

Well, one thing that wasn't included in the hypothetical scenario was whether or not these were productive employees. Or if these were very productive employees in a very competitive industry.
Zero tolerance policies have a tendency to produce results that are completely unexpected. Such as seeing two of your best producers working for your top competitor, with both of those now having a little extra motivation to kick your butt in the marketplace.

I tried it once, but that security camera was so damned uncomfortable we had to move it. Never will I have sex ON a security camera again!!! LOL

Why not?
Successful employees in highly competitive industries are motivated and energetic. They communicate effectively. They're goal oriented. They dress well. They groom well. Chances are they're young, and attractive.
If I was a bettin' man (and of course, I am), I'd wager that this happens a lot more often than we realize. Probably worth googling...

That's a big number! If you work with 20 or more coworkers, there's about a 1-in-10 chance that two of them have done it. And, there's about a 1-in-100 chance that two of them have done it together!
God, I love free enterprise...

Sex in the workplace is dangerous, risky and incredibly stupid ... which only serves to make it extremely appealing and erotic ....
As far as the issue of it being on company time, etc., judging by the sexual performance of most men women tell me about, it likely took less time than the post-coital cigarette ... and left them in a much happier mood ... at least until they find the security tape posted on someone's website ...

once being a supervisor in a hospital lab, two of my top workers (young, attractive) would disappear for periods of time?
What were they up to?
the girl told me, kinda out of the blue, one day, that they WERE going off and having sex... (she and her b/f were moving to CA. Her co-worker wasn't the b/f but someone she was screwing on the side)
my job was to see that things got done and got done right... they were among the top workers and did their jobs so I never cared....
then there was Aed, a 27-yr old Arab, looking like Omar Shariff, having an affair with another lab tech, 20 yrs older, who was married to a top Oncologist... They were both part-time but would work midnight shifts together...hmmm
Shannon, my manager, jokingly told me, "I don't care what they do as long as they bleach the bench-tops afterwards."

Whoever is "screwing on the job" outta have their asses FIRED immediately. Question for those that have done it. Don't you have any more self respect than this? Don't your kids mean more than a poke while on the clock? How are you gonna feed your kids when you get fired for being so STUPID?   No I have never done such an act on the job, my livelyhood and my child mean more than a man's dick
