It's different for every woman. I was once with a woman who wanted me to just about torture her nipples, twist them really hard, bite them roughly and almost disfugure them. That was a bit too much for me, it seemed like I was inflicting too much pain on her. I was with another woman who only liked me to feather her nipples, just brushing my tongue or lips against them, hardly touching them at all, but it was what she loved, so that was what she got! And, of course, there are many different stages in between, all of which I am happy to supply.

I'm with Di on this. . .it's a matter of personal preference.
For me. . .they're not glass, you're not gonna break them. . .give me a little teeth!! 
I'm might be off base here, but I think most women that have breastfed feel the same way. After having a child latched on every couple of hours for several months, a man can be a little more aggressive. It's not that they're not as sensitive, just sensitive in a different way. I'm sooo not explaining this right!

To be honest, although directions do sometimes help, it's all about listening to those little (or large) moaning and groaning noises, or little twitches... oh yum... damn, it's been far too long since I got up close and personal with a nipple..

As the nipple becomes erect, I wet the nipple by gliding my tongue over it. Once the nipple is wet, I put my mouth right up on (with out touching) the nipple.
