at night getting ready for bed usually a tank top & shorts or comfy PJ bottoms but once I'm in bed nothing but the blanket

This was the topic of another thread to which I responded, but I will reiterate what I said in that previous thread...
we're confined by our clothing all damned day... why be confined by it while we sleep?

with too many tremors and a big earthquake prediction coming to tokyo, i make sure that i have my jamies on before i go to sleep so when the big one comes, i can always run without having to worry about wearing only my birthday clothes.

Me thinks this depends on whether or not you have the bliss of someone spooning with you. If I am alone, pjs work fine.. little shorts and tank top jobs. If there is a special someone with me, it may start off as lingerie, but usually ends up with nothing as it is sooooooo much nicer to spoon to scrumptous skin!

It depends on my mood... some nights I wear a red silk bandanna around my neck, red snakeskin riding boots with silver spurs and two pearl-handled Colt .45s in a hand-tooled double holster with lots of silver conchos. Some nights I go casual and only wear one of those over-the-shoulder faux leapard skins with a section of jungle vine that I can sleep with my arms wrapped around... I don't do this often, as the neighbors complain about all the yelling I do in my sleep.

Sadly, with my endless days during baby season it's often what I put on when I got home from the office. Sometimes I consider my Self lucky to even sleep in my bed!

Comfy boxers and a "wife-beater" t-shirt in warm weather......flannels in cold....I have no one to impress, so I go for comfort.
