I here all the time in mails from women that they hate it here and that there isnt ever anything to do. I am originaly from Florida and I think that Ohio is not too bad. I mean it isnt like back home but there is alot to do if you take the time to uncover some of the things! And as a plus, to be honest, the women are great here in the midwest!! Love you ladies you are so much more REAL than what I grew up knowing....(no offense home state ladies.. hehe)

I lived in Cincinnati from 19 till about 25 and was not too active in the dating scene. How tough is it? I liked Cincinnati because I thought there was a lot to do despite the overly conservative vibe. It's not a boring place and I think it rebound a bit since the 2001 riot. But now I live in Orlando and naturally I think the dating scene is quite tough here. I like Orlando though, especially in the winter.

I moved from Ohio to Indiana in 1985. I hadn't done much dating up until then, so I didn't think I was breaking any hearts by leaving. Little did I know that I found out upon my return in 1995 that one heart did get broken. I never intended for that to happen. The woman had a daughter when I left, not mine, and I never knew that I meant so much to her. We weren't what I would consider a serious item. I married and started my family. She married someone else. My mistake. Anyway, my point is this: I want to move back to Indiana ASAP, but I am stuck here in the meantime. I was born in Ohio, and lived all but 10 of 44 years here. I have had nothing but heartache and depression here. I'll always BE a buckeye, but I don't think I fit in here, if I ever did. Not as bad? For me it has been pretty bad.

Ohio is a little bit of everything depending where you are in the state. If it had warmer winters, it would be perfect.

You appreciate ohio more if you weren't born here lol, I know people who moved here who loves it. But alot people born and raised here hate it, if it wasn't for my family being here I would be gone. Tell you what though, I have felt more welcomed in other states then here lol.

WOW oHIo is great....its only boring if u r boring....LOL
the Easy Riders Rodeo even is coming Aug. 30th to Sept. 3rd....check out easyrider.com site to check events.
I also love the clubs, Hocking Hills and anything that is fun....its what you make it.....

lived in ohio all my life, visited other states. its nice to go somewhere else for awhile, but ohio is home sweet home....i love this state!

There is plenty to do in NE OH, especially in the summertime. Lots of good free stuff to do as well. If nothing else, OH has plenty of water, given the drought situations around the country that will probably just continue to get worse, we can all be thankful for that.

Dude, the only thing Ohio has to offer anyone is the Rock Hall, and for one week a year, Canton comes to life to celebrate inductions at the Football H.O.F. Other that that, I'm alone in being a tourist attraction. I'm fgrankly sick of being the only reason people come to Ohio! It gets hard being funny when you run out of stuff to blather about! And no, I WON'T sell t-shirts. Bad things happen when you sell t-shirts.

I moved here to Southeastern Ohio from Reno, Nevada, because I thought it was the most beautiful place I had ever seen (and is). Houses are CHEAP and plenty of land. The weather is mild. I think it is a great retirement place, as the cost of living is so low and there is free college if you are over 60. Kids here have plenty of room to roam and people still wave as they pass while I am playing on my riding mower.

I've lived all over the USA and Ohio sucks. Do you even know why anyone knows where Ohio is? cause Jerry Springer paid for a prostitute with a government check when he was the mayor of cinnci and there is also the fact that Charles Manson is from Ohio. I swear Ohio could get blown off of the map and nobody would even notice that it was gone..haha

There are many people that say that about OHIO, and i will defend it every time. We have 4 seasons, great sports teams, access to all season sports for residents, beautiful park systems and sometimes you even run into a friendly person here and there lol. If you have lived all over and you do not like Ohio then why stay here and be miserable? Don't bad mouth it when you have a choice to either change it or change your surroundings..... it could be worse.

Take it from an Ohio-born girl who spent the last 4 years in New Jersey, Newark to be more specific...the Armpit of America! OHIO IS THE BEST and there is no place I would rather be!!!!! Appreciate it for what it is...a great state with LOTS to offer!!!
