Hello Broken hearted.... "Yes" there are a lot of respectable nice guys out here in the Internet dating world. But it seems like no ladies care.... As far as the picture thing goes... well if you had been out on blind dates like I have you would know why 'EVERYONE" asks for a pic. You list yourself as average and at 5'2" , 135# and you are truthful in your ad about it. I have been out with a few " Average" women who topped the 250 mark. Blind dates by the way. Said they liked to ski, ride horses, play sports too... also with bad back, knees, etc...... Hard to be respectable acting when you are lied to.
Maybe the respectable ones are older/ younger, not movie star looking/GQ guys, or not rich. Maybe they have kids or even never been married.
A few guys here fit that type. Try one... the guy who also wrote on this blog besides myself seems the type. (can't name names here...lol) I think he is close to you too... What luck... Good luck... you sound great to me personally..Wayne

Brokenhearted , sorry to hear you are having such a hard time . There are respectible men out there ,but it is just hard to find them . I have come to the conclusion that I am going to be kissing a bunch of toads before I find my prince .
Wab I just have to say I agree with you . Why do folks say they are average when they obviously are not ? Average to me is no more then 5-10 lbs over their ideal weight . I am a big girl , it even saids so on my profile . I have full body pictures posted ,and they was just taken last month ,except the Glamour Shot one .
I am straight up with exactly who I am and what I am looking for and it is really sad when others aren't the same way . Once you start talking with someone you have to play " are they being honest " only to find out 9 times out of 10 they are full of shit . However , I refuse to give up hope that Mr Right is out there somewhere .Happy Hunting everyone .

yeh tough to find many honest folk online - not saying people aren't honest on here ... beginning to wonder if it has something to do with me. I just think people like to lie to me.  The "sneakers" are the worst ... ya know the ones that hide the fact that they're married *rolls eyes*

Honesty is a dying thing in todays society. People think that they have to pretend to be something that they aren't. It just seems that everyone is so obsessed with looks today. Another thing that happens is they say that theya re looking for a relationship when all they are actually looking for is a good time as soon as they can get it and expect you to be the one to give them that and then they get mad when you dont. No one wants to take the time to get to know anyone anymore.
