Ok, when you buy a pack of underwear, there's usually a tag or sticker or something telling you the number of hte person that inspected them. Is there some sort of law or something stating we have to know who inspects our underwear? If this is the case, why isn't this the case with toys? Granted, I don't much fancy the idea of something ...unkosher being found in my underwear, but I'm not so into the whole idea of my kids playing with unkosher stuff either so, why can't we know who inspected the toys? Then when a recall is ordered, they could be like, ok, THIS is the person that screwed the pooch, and ya know, maybe get some of this stuff resolved, or is there something bigger that I'm just not getting? And I was going to ask something else, but as I got on a roll about the inspectors I've quite forgotten what it was.

The inspection tag you're talking about is a company gimmick, not a law. As far as toys, I agree. But the problem lies with import inspection standards. There simply aren't high enough inspection standards on the things we're importing into this country. If there were, my dog would still be alive.
