I joined just about5 days ago and get many scammers can't write english ,want my addy.Is it common here?Anyone have same problem?Thanks in advance for info and/or advice

It's common here...
It's no big deal...you can spot em a mile away...
Report em as spam and delete em...

I have received several scammer messages. I usually just hold onto them without responding and lo and behold a few days later, they have either cancelled or been cancelled. It's such a shame that it is so hard to meet GOOD people anymore. Not all of us have ulterior motives, and you can usually tell the good from the bad. Beware of incomplete sentences, and check profiles too. If they just cut and paste parts of their profile, run away as fast as you can.

I have received so many thats it is kinda sad that there are people out there like that. I used to save them and then like one of the other guys said they would be deleted a few days later after they were reported. But now, I just report them as I receive them so we can rid this site of them as quickly as possible

My Scammer just asked me today to send him some money...His so called bank account over seas has been having problems given him his money and he has gone the last 5 days without eating 
What a joke, the sad thing about it is someone else might have or already has fallen for this jokers bull shit!!!
Don`t know if I can give his name on here but if I find out I can I will be back with it, because he`s still on matchdoc.

I had one. Claimed to be from Spain originally. I played along, I was curious to see how he was going to play it. He e-mailed me for a while, said he was an independent engineering contractor. Of course his English was sooo bad there is no way he could have been working here for anyone. Then one day he gets a chance at a big oil industry contract in Nigeria, so he sells his house and goes over there. Has a meeting with the President of Nigeria no less and after a couple of days lo and behold he gets the contract. Once he mentioned Nigeria I was waiting for him to ask me for money. Then in a few more days, he did, because he needed it for his contract. Of course, I told him I knew what he was up to all along and I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. Pretty funny how elaborate and far-fetched their little schemes are.

Yes, there are many ,but knowing law i play them a little ,,,then I have turned into the FBI ,as they also watch SCAMMERS.............DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OF BANK ACCOUNTS, OR ID INFORMATION D/L OR PASSPORT...

I got the billboard one, also. What I don't get are the 18 to 30 year olds that email me. Between the dating ones on here and the credit, refinance, car loans, won money, Viagra, credit card, etc. that I get in my regular email I seem to be deleting messages all day. A lot of them address me by my full name so I know that some sites sell your information. Cough, cough!

Of course most of us have...for some reason this site doesn't really clean things up. As someone said, you can see them coming a mile away....Dead giveaway for me is how beautiful I am and how they are looking for a wife etc. They read YOUR profile and go from there and try to sound like what YOU are searching for.... They give a false area that can be easily checked if you know your home town. Hell sometimes they are states away from me. I guess some think the US is a lot smaller than it is, he he . I love to play with them for a few emails if I am in the mood.. then hit them with their lies, report them as spam, and delete them. Has anyone else noticed how great looking these people are in their pics 
Makes me wonder though how many poor souls are scammed successfully since they are still doing this for years now. If it wasn't successful they wouldn't continue. Most probably aren't even the opposite sex from the ones they are trying to scam.....How sad the internet is used for evil as well as good. But good and evil share all avenues of life since the beginning of human history.
