Have a possible small get-together idea now. One Saturday, October 4th, our city is putting on another FREE blue grass festival (outdoors unless it is raining, then inside). It is suppose to be a lot bigger this time, starting at 3pm and going until well after dark. Several good bands will be there, bring-your-own instrument jam sessions for those that want, concessions, bring your own chairs, and so on and so on. If anyone wants more details just let me know. The last one was great and this one, they told me, is suppose to be even better. I am planning on going.

I'm thinking maybe Picnic for dinner, everyone bring their own basket or buy from the concession (though I do not know what all they will have), lay out blankets and so forth, since it starts at 3pm and runs well past the dinner hour. Since my shop is only two doors down we could even make a run to microwave stuff if anyone needed to. Just some off-the-top-of-my-head thoughts. Let's hear everyone else's.

Fortunately, for the sake of all my goats, I don't think they are going to let us start any fires at the Civic Center. And if you bring one of those "traveling" smokers on wheels, well....I'm hidin' the wheels. 
How about I just bring some of the BBQ buffalo I fixed last weekend and put in the freezer. You can run down and NUKE it in my break room. Or better yet, we could BBQ a pig.  Much tastier than a goat in rut/.
