Brrrrrrr........ Our first heavy sleet of the season hit about 1am tonight. I had no idea it was going to do that.(well, I should have guessed it by how crazy my critters were acting). Gosh, it was coming down hard for awhile there. At least it isn't cold enough for it to stick, whew! Tapered off now to light rain/sleet mix. Glad I got my lettuce all picked earlier. And again thinking how THANKFUL I am that I have a warm fire tonight.

Santo, that would be something to see! On his desk? lol

Mom... LTNS? ..... I gotta learn all the "new" language.

Yep, Bill.... I ordered it just for you! Thought I would make you some snow ice cream in appreciation. It's ready if you want some . But go ahead and come steal the firewood.... then I will come steal it back after you get it all split . almost down to the big stuff * - actually I am going to try working on some of it tomorrow. I use to be able to. Will see if I have any 'swing' left.* I can't believe how much cold/ice/snow we have had already!

Congratulations, Bill, on the new grand baby! ! ! ! Aren't they fun! My new one is coming around next July . I hope you feel better soon.

Oh, yes.... Bill, I am working on conjuring up a White New Year's Eve just for you, too. Thought it might be a good way to end the year.

but... but.... but... BILL...... It's French Vanilla snow ice cream... It's suppose to be yellow

What can I say, I like to do nice things for my friends now and then.

My house inherited a pregnant daughter last night and her boyfriend. Told him last night he was chopping wood today. He 'cheerfully agreed.' . . . . . . . It is now 1pm and they are still in bed. He leaves at 5 for work. Pondering between *enjoy the quiet* - *send the rambunctious Rover up to them*

Send the dog, send the dog! I'm at a loss as to what has gotten into the youngsters. I have 2 sons-in-law that won't do anything . 'Course it might help if I quit calling 'em lazy a,,es.

But, they ARE lazy a$$es.... at least, the ones I have seen are.
For the most part, everything has been okay with my daughter the past two days. But that 30 yo bf! Didn't take long for him to "get" that his stretch of "house hopping" and "kicking back" like it was the Hilton, ended with me. Oh, the blogs I could write just on these past two days! He slept until 3:30 yesterday... 3pm today! Said he was going to chop the wood today, but they had a ride pick them up today at 4pm to go 'run errands.' Guess what... they aren't coming back tonight . She called with her excuses... they didn't finish their errands and have to stay in town (crashing on a friend's floor). His failed attempts to step into my house and "run things" got comical at times.

Ain't it amazing how they are not only lazyasses but dumbasses too?
Do they think we got all that we have, such as it is, by being stupid?
And i look at my daughters sometimes and I think"Was I that bad a parent?" Then I think: Nah its the exe's fault."
