I really don't know about any of you out there, but I come here almost everyday with a strange feeling that I can't really quite put my finger on. As I now look over to my right on this screen and see all these little emoticons I can relate to everyone of them, and feel what they express at the same time. I feel like I'm dwelling into a fanasy world that keeps me coming back. Is this all for real? Or is this just some sort of cruel dream that I trapped myself in. Maybe if I follow through with meeting someone, and then am able to meet them face to face, then I'll know it is real. Until then I'll just have to think of it as fanasy. Anybody got any feedback?

What you said about following thru is what you need to do. What are you afraid of?

Painter...Really not afraid of meeting anyone. I'm interested in someone, and I believe she is me. We talk on the phone a lot, but she is a little afraid to meet me in person just now, and I'm not about to push her till she is ready. Untill that happens I will have mixed emotions about all this. A unexplainable feeling. Thanks for your feedback.

Painter....Really don't know if it should be concidered a red flag, or not. What I can gather she has been hurt, and don't want to be hurt again. Trust issues I guess.

This on line stuff is ok but not great, have found there are more wanna be's than real people, myself ive been looking for a lot of years and have found most have outside beauty and very few come from within..as far as the "painter" goes step out tread thin ice be careful as far as age goes in looking its not the exterior its what come from the insde and your heart will tell you

This online stuff is all fantasy...It's just not the same as meeting someone face-to-face at a place of employment, grocery store and similiar places. Expectations run too high online, where most men rely only on a photograph and judge from that whether there will be a "meeting". It's all rather depressing!

Not to mention that getting people to actually say something after they've expressed interest in chatting can sometimes feel like pulling teeth.

Ok well for me so far this online stuff hasn't gotten me anywhere I really want to be. I've set up a few dates with a gal in Medford but twice now she has backed out of it for one reason or another. And there was this painter gal one time, HUM...
