Im really finding it odd..
I get along with people better in other states and countries than in my own town...
You always find to good guys or girls, that are just too far away :P
I know there are some good men left in Oregon, But they are hiding :)

*laugh* There are plenty of good men around. They just might not be to your liking. I'm thinking warrior420 and duffman3182 are thinking they're good men. They probably are. I kind of think the same of me.
Anyway, this place is all about networking. If you're not interested in anyone here, just make friends. I'm pretty sure I know some of those guys who are hiding, and if you were my friend and ended up hanging out with me and my group, you'd meet them. In fact, I've got a couple of friends in grad school who are single and planning on being electrical engineers like myself. I don't know if the engineer type floats your boat, but the offer for introductions is there.
As for the guys...Warrior, Duffman, sorry, can't help you. I know lots of beautiful young girls, they just happen to be taken *laugh*. Otherwise I wouldn't be here myself.

Men aren't really hiding... Many just don't like the bar or club scene. If you don't have a church or temple you go to for community, and you don't go to the bars or clubs, it can be hard to meet single women. There's always the net, but some people still think the net is only for losers who couldn't find someone on the real playing field.
A couple hour drive is quite a distance for me I'll tell you that. I would do it if I were going to spend a weekend somewhere, but I'd never drive two hours to and fro just for a movie and dinner. Yuck.

there are good men, everyone is just too picky. You can't completely judge someone by this site. You have to atleast talk to them or meet them to give them a chance. No one is hiding, I think your standards are just too hbigh

heard on KEX (yeah yeah, I know it's a conservative station...it wakes me up and gets me out the door FAST to get away from it!) this morning..."EVERYONE" is still moving to Oregon, so all the good ones should be arriving shortly.
