Women who are in their late 40's and 50's who state they are in the prime of their life... Or say I want a man who can make love all night long...How stupid is that?

Women who are in those age groups are definitely not in the prime of their lives!
How the hell would you know? All you do is slam the women, verbally in the blogs! Since you are single, and will most likely stay that way cause of your pompass attitude, you will never experience it. I can honestly say, that the women I've been with, in there 40's and 50's, are in their prime, sexually, and emotionally. Get a life 1951

Women who are in those age groups are definitely not in the prime of their lives!

I was browsing the posts today out of boredom. When I read this one, I thought it was another woman in the age group mentioned that was putting her peers down at first. Not that there is anything wrong with long hair. It just threw me off a moment in the beginning and got my bloomers a bit in knots. It made me think what is wrong with this woman that she would so bash her own gender that way! I beg forgiveness for that first error in who was making the statement.
That said, I will address my reaction to the other issues that hit me in the statement. Women who are in those age groups are definately not in their prime? As in beef on the hoof? How is that quote to be taken? In a physical sense no, they probably aren't able to climb mountains any more. But by this age, I bet they have had to face more than a few in their lives. By this age most women should have learned how to either go over those mountains, around them, or in some cases right through them to over come issues in life. They should know who and what they are as women. This age group should have been able to have learned in living and grown through life, not just gone through it. If that's value to be in the prime of your life no matter what gender, give me the cheaper cuts of meat! I am a bit mystified what makes someone saying they want a man to be able to make love all night long a stupid statement? Ahh the sweetness of making love. Once upon a time in another life time ago I did that. We would give hugs for no reason, or little kisses in passing all through the day into the night. We would snuggle watching T.V. together sharing warmth and affection. Sometimes necking like kids. Bed time was the icing on the cake. But the love making didn't end there. We fell asleep in each others arms. Holding each other into our dreams. Now that is making love all night long and to me there was nothing stupid about it.

Profiles of people with no picture is *the* biggest turn off, and don't you just love it when they send you email after seeing YOUR picture, you tell them off, and they get all bent out of shape about it - talk about retards - O MI GOD!

My picture WAS on here per the request of another user with whom there seemed to be a mutual interest. After posting it, I was mocked and ridiculed. The picture has been removed, and I will not be putting it back up. If that's offensive....

No recent full view picture ........why hide?

My pic is of my Scottie puppy, my profile stats are purpously deceptive because I am broken hearted & grieving deeply. I'm not wanting to "date", but I still enjoy looking. If there were another man out there like the one I had....I would definately go there ....but figure the odds

PS.
I am 58, attractive enough, 5' 3", 145#'s, size 10, 36B & was very, very much in my prime, until he found out this April he was "very ill" & died in June, just 7 months into our relationship.... how does one stay in their prime after such a devestating loss????? go figure!!!!!!!!

It's been 20yrs since the love of my life died. You will eventually be able to move on.But it will take someone very special to help you with that step.
Now to address the {email address removed} turns me off on a profile??
When someone writes and you know DARN well they are some freeloading jerk from another country who sensa u an email and has NO idea who's profile he is using! Also when a guy is only interested in gettin a piece of tail..

Mothers who go on about how much they love their children, as if the reader would question such conviction if they had not mentioned it.

I can usually tell by reading if someone has major baggage. For example, the profiles that state several times, several different ways that the person is looking for honesty, doesn't like liars, values integrity and honesty, doesn't want a game player, etc. It's as if they come with their own storage shed to house all their baggage.

I figure if you still have trust issues--or any other issues--then those need to be dealt with before one thinks about jumping back into the dating scene. If not, in the end, the new person winds up being the only one to deal with those issues for the person who had the unresolved baggage.
