Seriously, there isn't anything to do. Its freezing. Shoveling snow sucks.
Waking up in a freezing house sucks.
There's no better place to be in the summer than RI, but in the winter...
How does everyone get through it?

I assume you're saying that it's BITTER cold. 
(actually, I agree with you...follow the sailboats -- they know how to make the best of both worlds  )

I have a relative that followed the sailboats. Straight to St. Thomas!!!! and she never came back!!!(except for xmas and week or 2 in the summer every now and then) Come January I be bitching more and more about why haven't I done the same yet.

And I've met loads of people in the Virgin Islands from Newport/etc...who never left (or at least commute "seasonally"...)

I'm still working on the Rio thing, still accepting donations.
Today was a pretty nice day out, I got some trail riding on the dirt bike in, so right now its for a round trip tk. Maybe by january, it will be for a one way. I'm just sad the republicians lost this election, they didn't acknowledge global warming and didn't do anything to stop its progression. All we need is a few more degrees warmer here...and
