Ok, Lower Carolinians, let's take a poll
Is it OR is it NOT too early TO GO AHOPING AND AHUNTING for a VALENTINE SWEETIE, maybe even a Valentine Trudging The Road to Smelly but Happy Destiny Mate?
Look, I'm gonna turn 48 that day, and I've NEVER had a romantic Valentine birthday..if it's all the same to you guys, I'm here as a Marathon Love kinda gal, not a Sprinting, fast and short, Early Burnout Chick, anyway....

If you don't find your sweetie before your Valentine Birthday,
there is a Valentine dance in Greenville, SC that I have
attended before and it was fun. They did a form of speed dating before
the dance. This held on Pelham Road with the
upstate Christian Singles. The should be holding
other dances before then.
As for your poll, I don't think it is too early to be
looking. It seems like this time of year goes
by fast.

Got to go to one of those Christian Singles dances, before I came up to NS....nice folks, great organization. Found out I could dance, too!
Jeesh...I gotta wear tighter things--I think I've lost about 12lbs lately!!!

Hey thats my birthday too! .... and yes I'd have to agree with you... Valentines day sucks without a sweetheart! Of course its not too early!

Gosh, this thread is dead, so, since TODAY, my result happened, I may as well own it:
An MDer out of this state IS coming to visit, for my Valentine birthday! Not only that, but since a place called Steak Out delivers halfway decent steaks to my door, I offered to let us eat HERE, at the cottage, and avoid the stupid traffic and reservations messups...
Not lookin, necessarily, for romance, but am grateful, to have a really calm, steady, grownup (ok, and, yes, MALE), to be here.
