I don't know about anyone else.. but I have gotten quite a few messages and I don't believe even the 1st one was from a REAL person... Is this site all scammers or are there some real folks on here?????

There are some real folks, however this site is a scammers paradise. A dead give away for the scammers is, poor English, poor spelling, and they usually always want you to email or chat with them on yahoo.
Just report them as spam and go on to the real folks.

I am like you. I don't believe that 3/4 of the ads are real. For example some people will specify that they will only talk with honest people and that they are honest them selves but when you write to them you never hear from them again. Now I ask you, is that being honest? At the very least they could reply with a NO but they don't even do that. I answer all my e-mails EXCEPT those that I get from overseas who want to meet me. How is that possible unless one of us is rich and it certainly is not me. I believe that most of these sites keep all the outdated profiles just so it looks like thay have lots of members. Now you ask, why do I keep on coming back. The reason is simple. I am always hopeful that one day I will meet that one person who enjoys what I like and we meet sometime in the near future.

Anothe real one here. I've been on another free site and most of my mail came from scammers. I know that when they start their first message with how beautiful I am and how they can't get me off their minds, there's something fishy going on. Or sometimes, they seem okay at first, but if you reply, the letter you get back is in Japanese-instruction-manual English.
I guess they're going to want me to send them money--they are in a temporary financial bind--so they can come and see me and show me all the love, etc. I wasn't born yesterday, but unfortunately, some women may fall for it.
But I tried another paying site (I thought it was free, but that was only for a month) and as soon as I finished my profile, which is a lot like this, they said I had several messages. So those sites are sometime as the complaints say--they'll do anything to get you to stay there. I deleted everything on that one.

By the way, I don't have anything against people who don't speak English well... except when they claim to be from, for instance, North Carolina, and put up photos or ordinary American guys.

Yes, there are a lot of scammers on the site. After a while, they become much easier to spot. As a rule of thumb, if they sound too good to be true & they can't write, then they are a scammer.
Typically, they will claim to be young, wealthy & educated, but their grammar is terrible. They almost always post a photo, usually of someone who is attractive. Many will make multiple claims about how important god is to them and/or how they work for charity.
Most of the mail that I get on this site, typically comes either from scammers or women who live in China (which may or may not be the same thing). Then again, I have met a few wonderful people on this site, so it is not a total waste. Of course, at times, it does begin to seem that way.

I'm real too... but after being on here for so long and most guys (not all) that write me only want to talk about getting together for a one nighter. I'm not into that. So in a sence I've somewhat given up. I do at least look at my mail and most of the time I write back, but it usually dies out after that unless they are adament about trying to get me to talk durty just cause in my blog I wrote an adult love story. I guess they don't look at the other blogs and see that my "love story" is only a small part of that picture.
I personally haven't had much problems with scammers... just guys with to many hormones. LOL

I think women get hit with the scammers a lot less than the guys do. Women just spend have their life shoveling through the B.S.

Iam real but I sure think there are alot of scammers on here.Iam wondering why they feel the need to have the robots or whatever they are called.Is it suppose to keep a person on here in hopes or what? Its sad in some ways but also down right funny.Hummmm wonder if any of the robots meet on here and fall in love LOL

I'm real too; I think I was one of the VERY FIRST 500 members of the site, actually. I've left, changed profile names, about 3x over the years; Some members here, I HAVE met, or HAD TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS with; The lounge lizzard/Casual Sex types on this site soon get bored and post another profile on Adult MD, then talk about how uptight THIS SITE is. 
As for Nomads comment about why honest folks might not answer emails; If they have NOTHING REALLY TO SAY to you, DO YOU WANT THEM, SAYING ANYTHING? I'd rather have the silence than a harsh reply; Easy enough, to look at your Sent Mail folder and AT LEAST KNOW they gave you a look.
