I'm from Sevierville, Pigeon Forge area... tourist central. It's Labor Day weekend, so we'll see bunches of folks for a few days, then we have two big car shows coming up. Anybody ever get up this way?
Oh, and don't forget Dollywood. 5 minutes from my house...

Meigs county (decatur), 3 miles north of the hamilton county( chattanooga) line on hywy 58, on the Hiwassee river, where I can sit on the front porch and watch a Kudzu vine take over the county, the men are men and the sheep are skeered, and the major nightly event that everyone gathers for, Harve Elson's light sensor yard lamp comes on all by itself at dark

Clevegas Biaches. where I can drive up the road and pass 15 churches within a 1 mile radius...w00t. But alas, I am near to the ocoee which makes all at peace.

I hail from Upper East TN, the Tri-Cities area.
Stacy, I am your way quite often. In fact, I will be headed that way in a couple of weeks for a campout event. My Cherokee Elder/teacher also lives that way and I try to meet with her at least once a month!

I live in Jackson, TN. I-40 goes right thru my town. I am 2 hrs from Nashville and a little over an hr from Memphis. I think we have about 8 exits off I40. If you pass thru, take exit 80 and eat at Old Country Store in Casey Jones Village. They have an awesome breakfast food bar!
