man what a day!!!!!   I was really going good on moveing some funiture around and finally got to moveing my computer and desk and thats when things went crazy. I went to hook all the wires back up and thought I had it done right..wrong. After most of the afternoon and the whole evening geting panicky because I couldn't get on line , I had even called a friend who's a computer wiz and tried a couple things she suggested ..with no luck. I called AOL and got a very nice young man and it turned out I had hooked a line up wrong, man do I feel like a dummy lol lo I mean all this time wasted and it was one darn line hooked up wrong.....did ya ever have one of those days?

AHhhhhhh the age of Technology, Aint it wonderful, I use ta go thru that all the time, adding a new dvd player to the tv, sattelite, speaker system, adding a new component to the comp, or like you, rearanging everything or cleaning, and like you goin thru hours and in one case days tryin ta get the damn things ta work right again, my kids are 6 and 7 yrs old but I only get them every other weekend and cant wait on them to do it for me, (they showed me how to work my child proof lighter and my daughter is blind) 
here's what I do now,
I bought a basic set of model paints and painted a little dot on each cabel and beside the place they plugged into, and whenever I get a new component now, thats the first thing I do when I pull it out of the box and now reconection is a snap!
