Just stopping in to return the hello to jdc. Hello everyone I love Texas. I lived there a few times during my childhood, but never really 'lived' there if you know what I mean. I still like going there and hope to go there again next spring.whooooo Six Flags!

I have lived in the Austin area for the past 14 years and I love it. I came here from NW Indiana. I DO NOT miss the snow one bit!

the one thing that stands out in my mind about austin, weather wise, is the hail. i'd seen a bit of it growing up in ar, but wow. tx does do everything n a big way! i drove a nissan stationwagon, n just the sound would scare the snot outta me.
i was going n on mopac during a hailstorm. everyone else was parked on the side; that was the best rush hour i'd ever had there. i wouldn't stop until i was home.
i envy u, txmomma btw, r all the guys still cute?

Lecriveuse - Yes, the men are gorgeous but, then all men are, aren't they? Hurry back down here but, you'll be surprised by how much has changed. I think they are trying to change the Austin area to be Dallas or Houston. **Meaning no ill will to Houston or Dallas, just prefer a smaller city ** It's losing it's "smalltown" feel. I still love it though and I have a good job (that I love).
The drastic change in weather that can occur in one day still messes with my mind sometimes but, makes life (and getting dressed) interesting, indeed!
