Amen Bearmom--I have met a nice decent guy here on MD. Definitely NOT a one-night stand. We've been dating for about a month now. We started with emails and phone calls, and then we met. Have been together every week end since. Talk on the phone every night. I guess I was really lucky here. I have met some of the guys who are looking for a one nighter. And they are all over Texas. Just keep holding out for that one special one.

tx is where i am from. i have had some many problems with finding black women or any other race that dates blacks. not bitter just a fact get a black pic and try your luck. its rough. any advice out there? or maybe its my drama huh? someone throw me a bone here!

Corey, this site is mostly older, religious, or spam based- profiles, unfortunately. There are some our age but not alot.
If i remember correctly from when u wrote me, yer not the "typical" black dude. Yer not "ghetto" or a rapstar (which most black chix solely go 4). Very few want a "tiger woods" type- a black dude thats a "dude" n not a "homie" or a "nigga". U present yerself as educated, sincere, & open to things other than the "stereotypical".
As far as white chix, well its kinda the same mentality. If they r drawn 2 black dudes, its 2 piss off mommy n daddy, feel "naughty", or for the sense of "danger" that most black guys "perpetrate".
U may wanna try some other sites. There r those that cater soley to black people & their "admirers". However, i think that the truth is that u r cooler than the average bear so by default u r "outcast" from both "sides" from black cause yer not ghetto n from white cause yer not white.
There r those who see no skin color n theyre out there believe it or not. Youll hafta look in other places than here tho 2 find them.
E-mail me n ill shoot ya the links 2 some other sites 2 try (that r free) cause im a "jew". lol

 Wild. Maybe that is your interpretation of this site. I tend to see a completely different side of it. Perhaps someone else sees Cory differently as well. Personally Corey, I feel if you start posting in the forums, you will become visible. Too many people are invisible and the forums and the blogs tend to make us visible.
Just watch out. What you say will be there a LOOOOONG time. And, it will represent who you are. Try it, you may like it.

i dig the positive feed spirit but i have seen things to be more or less as wild puts it when it comes to tx women. women here in tx want that edge of danger. be it a over bearing cowboy or thug. nice guys like me are swept aside or ignored. sad thing is i know well how to have a good time on either side of the fence. though my words and ways do not blend in either culture my charater is one all love and respect. can you tell more on your angle spirit. i do agree with wild though.

I work with the spiritual and mental aspects of life. What I have seen over and over, is what you hold in your thoughts and what you put out there is what you create. I am a creator being. I create in my life, those things that I desire. I used to only have those things that others created or believed in, happen in my life. I was more or less, along for the ride. Now, since I am more aware, I realize that the negatives in my life were things others taught me to believe in. Now, I choose what I believe in and create that in my reality. Everyone's reality is different. Wild's reality is perfect for her, mine is perfect for me. If yours is not perfect for you, then change it.

I'm a TX woman and a person of faith. I always respond to winks and emails because I love meeting people of all faiths and colors and because I believe we are all created equal. My part-time job is working in retail and I love it because it gives me the chance to talk to people. I've dated a wide range of men and have learned that no one is perfect, but once in a while you get lucky and find someone who makes you feel complete. You just have to give people a chance and not dwell too much on their imperfections. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You should read some of the mail I get .Scary to say the least . Sometimes I get peaved and wondered if the guys actually read my profile . Most it seems are homeless and looking for a wife . I admit that I have not gone through all of the mail. Who knows at the bottom of the pile is someone great . What about the other states ?

Bunzi, there are tons of scammers here because this is a free site. Please go to the strange email thread http://www.matchdoctor.com/thread_2_13986_1/Strange_emails.html.
Read to see if the people are in there already. If many people have them, they are scammers/spammers. If you post to the thread, edit it a bit to make the email slightly unidentifiable but so we know if it is someone we have received from. I XX out a couple of the letters in the part before the@.

Frog's, Toad's?!?! Why is every one trying to find his/her respective prince/primness charming ( trying to be pc here ) It's all a matter of who or what makes you happy! I mean if they don't answer back then that's their own fault. You know what kind of person you are, and if you've taken " the time " to delve into their respective personality, but really how much can you get from someone on a " profile ". The aspect has to be in both court's. Now most people on here are extremely vain! Just for the mere fact that they are on this site. " Selling " them salves to a almost factious being. You cant expect a person online to automatically want to respond to a EMAIL! if you want real interaction get out there and DO something about it. Granted pot calling the kettle black, but then again " My hipocracy go's only so far. " It's all very vain, and over rated... At least from my viewpoint. ( But then again I might be talking out my ass, lol only I know this! )

yeah, I did a bit of ranting last couple of days myself. Geez, was I pissed. My own dang fault tho. I trust too easily and give too much. I will remedy that. It gets too tiring being angry especially when you know it is all your own fault.
