I have read so many times..."I am very laid back" and as someone with tons of energy what does this mean?

To me, it means easy going, slow to anger, not easily agitated. Slow to anger being the most important. I have a very long fuse and am not prone to violence. A person with tons of energy can still be laid back. I have very little use for people with hot tempers.

I would say that being laidback may also imply someone who is flexible, for example, say with hobbies, activities, also easy to please, understanding/ble, and one who can easily get along with most folks.

Maybe quiet, introverted? Maybe "laid back" (introverted) is the opposite of "outgoing" (extraverted).
There are all sorts of code words in singles ads that confuse me.

I'd suggest that if a "laid-back" dude interests you, you ask him what it means to him.

I consider myself laid back and am told by others this as well. To me this just means I (ugh! too tempted to say "this means I'm laid back" lol) usually have VERY relaxed body language and don't over-react to anything (by that I mean not particularly emotional).
Since the other responses seemed rather different to me I'd say lacy is correct and you should just ask if its something you feel that you need to know.
If you need someone who is full of energy like yourself though I'd guess you probly wouldn't be too thrilled with a laid back kinda guy.
