I was thinking about trying to organize a little gathering at a local Bar for some of us singles in the area that would like to meet Face to Face  Who knows you may meet your match!
If we have enough replys I will get some things set up!

 I would be interested just to get out of my area and meeting other singles. But after reading your profile I am not to sure if attending would that much fun. You may be looking for men and women around your age to party with. So there is some interest by me, just don’t want to be singled out as the odd or old person out.

If you make it around Labor Day or anytime a hurricane is approaching Houston, I am nterested in attending as I will probably head up that way and camp out with my sis.

Well we can get together and figure out a good middle spot for several people to meet...haven't had too much response to my suggestion....so maybe working together will do the trick

Well were you able to get some together for this? I know some of my friends we meet every thursday at Chilis in Waco riight after work. One is married and not looking and one has someone and not looking. We just meet to have fun and chat once a week. I would be willing to meet sometime if a group gets together. El Chico here used to have a singles group that met there every thursday. I know several that have met someone and married. Keep me posted.

Hey, I know that I am a little late on this but I think that it would be great to get something together for singles to meet here in Waco. It seems like if you go to the bars like I did tonight there is nothing there but Baylor kids. There were so many of them that it ran me out. lol Anyway, I think that you have a wonderful idea!!!!! Please let me know if you do get something together.

Lets just do it set a date like a Friday or Saturday and just do it! All the talking in the world isn’t going to get things going! El Chico or even Rudy’s can be fun places. I don’t live in Waco but willing to attend if a date and place is set. If some cannot commit on that date then the next time everyone meets they can try again! But all talk and not action taken is why there are no singles get-togethers. I all start with small steps, so just do it!

Also at Cheddars its nice to sit out on the patio. Every other thursday they have a band and drinks are $2 usually. The band was there last night and they play from 7 - 9. Great music.

Nothing has happened so far. Nobody replied. I know next thurdsday a band wlill be at cheddars on the patio. I will be there with friends.

Have yall still not done anything? I don't keep up the message board very good and I don't guess that is a good thing. It seems that all the singles here in Waco are all female.  Where have all the men gone?????? I have been alone in the town for dang near 8 years. I am about fed up with the dating thing all together and I am begining to think that I will never meet anyone unless I move to another town. A man sure isn't worth a move to me unless I already have one that is. What is a girl to do????

Hello I agree blueeyes. I just go out with my girlfriends and meet every thursday. Some of us went to Austin last weekend to the Oasis and had a great time. I did meet someone there and danced with him. Guess need to move to Austin.
