I work at DFW and I'd like to hear y'alls opinions, questions, or stories about the airport. I live in Euless, so a big hello to all those in the HEB area!

I was stuck there Christmas eve 2000.. ...
I slept on the floor that night scared as all get out because this is when the airports were open and the panhandlers were all about.. I could not find where all the people had gone.. Another gal and I found each other and were happy we did as she also did not know where people were being set up and we were being hassled by this panhandler.. Creepy I was never so happy when morning came and people came from all over I still do not know where they were all sleeping at..I do remember asking and many had cots.. Smile...
No flights were going out of DFW that morning some one heard that Southwest was still flying so a bunch of us got into taxis and went to Love field to fly Southwest and we got the last flight out..
Then Lubbock and the area was snowed in for a week I think Dallas was too

that's very rare..... it hardly ever snows here and when it does, it's very small amounts.

I think at the time it was called the storm of the decade LOL.. Lubbock had never seen so much snow and I had not either.. I am from South Texas where it hardly ever snows... I can't say never as it did one time since I have been here....Smile

It sucks that there is a toll to get in and out of the airport. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

yeah, you're right about that, but there is always the service road (and the 35 mile an hour speed limit, and the stop lights, and all the cops running speed traps...)
on second thought....the service road sucks too!
