I've been to Texas---dated a Texas gal once. Turns out Texas has no interesting local women either. My advice: Get outta dodge. Come to Northeastern Pennsylvania where real men write poems and pick flowers for their women. ;)

You say real men pick flowers?
Texan men aren't cheap... we buy the biggest ones.
If you didn't find a good woman in Texas, it's YOUR fault. There are a lot of great women in Texas. There are a lot of shitty women in Texas ... you get what you deserve if your standards aren't high.

Yeah, depends where you are looking and depends on your taste. Many men hate Tx women because so many of us have minds and won't put up with asses.

I'm from Pennsylvania - moved to Texas (second time here) - would say on average that Texas women are more friendly - cannot agree with the guy's assessment of Texas women

I would prefer getting a present of a rosebush in a pot or a wrapped rose bush to plant to have roses all year long. Instead of cut roses.

No, good men are not hard to find. Good men that are compatible to the women looking for a man that will suit her needs are hard to find. Same with women. Good one's are all over. They just may not suit the men looking.

I wish I knew the answer to this question. Why is it lately I seem to talk to only men in their 30s that play the same games as little highschool boys? If you are an adult, shouldn't you act like one? I don't feel like I am asking for that much from a man, I just want someone honest, loyal, trustworthy, family oriented and one that has ambition. I don't think I am asking for that much, so where are all the men at?
