Kids or no kids?

Do people really want to be with someone that has a kid? I have a three year old daughter and I cant have the kind of behavior around my daughter that most of the women are in to now days. It also seems like now days...if you have a kid that no one wants to get involved, but the way I look at it, and I believe that the world should as well, is that yes the person has a kid and they are taking responsiblity, and will do anything and everything for their child. I ask only one question...Do you want to be with someone that goes out and parties every night and is going no where or do you want to be with someone that is ready to settle down, and you know that they are a good father or mother? Its up to you...

If one is getting into a relationship with someone with small kids then the party thing is OUT.. I stayed single the whole time my kids were without their father not sure I wanted to bring a man home.. I think though that since they are grown and I am now dating a man with kids when he has them if we do something together it is a family thing rated G not even PG or I stay home that weekend... I support you in wanting someone in your life that understands that there is more to a relationship besides partying, Smile I still do not party, our big thing is going to the movies but maybe that is because we are both in our mid 40's and OLD ha ha ha....

Geez, Red, 40 isn't old. Erk! I am 56 and do not feel old. Maybe because I never had babies to raise.
If the children were good children and had been raised responsibly, I would not have a problem with them. Now, if children are badly behaved and have no discipline, I certainly would not want to be in that family. I grew up in one of those. My brother was in and out of jail. NO thank you. Do not care to experience THAT again.

I'm 56 also and don't feel old! I've never had kids but have been a 1st and 2nd grade teacher for 30 years so am around kids constantly. At this point in my life, I wouldn't want to be a mother, but a grandma might be nice! 
You need to find someone who really wants and likes kids. They will know how to behave then. A party now and then is okay but with kids, things take on more of a family type outing. Keep looking, there's someone out there who is just right!
