Dang, I would have to work on the week-end. I'm off on Mondays and Tuesdays now but we're about to change. I will have Sat. and Sun. for the next 3 months. Yepeeee !!! I only get week-ends once a year. I'd better make the most of it. I don't live too far from Conroe. My brother used to have a house there. I hope you have a great week-end and get lots of business.

The Texas Prison Museum
Sam Houston Museum and Home

Theres a state park out on I-45 I think
A countryfied golf course out of town (Outlaw Gap)

Oh thanks, LJ. Seems everything on my list is for kids 7-13 right now. Ugh! Need to find things to do when my boyfriend gets here. Well, after a week or so anyway.

The Texas Prison Museum is actually pretty cool. You can see "old sparky", the electric chair used in Texas executions!!

There are also a few serial killers buried in the prison graveyard (located just around the corner from Bearkat stadium). You have to know what you are looking for though, I think they have numbers instead of names on them.

Might be fun for a first date.

Haha, LJ, yeah, sure, for an empath and someone that 'feels' energy? I don't think so. Urgh. Wonder how many orbs I would be able to find on pictures there.

First Saturday in October is Fair On The Square in Huntsville.

They did have some type of re-enactment thing going for a while. Don't know if they still do. Check out the Walker County/Huntsville Chamber of Commerce.
