I got zip response in the Indiana thread where the camping trip is actually taking place, so thought I'd try here in my home state. Yeah right...
Now is the time for you to decide to come out of your shells and come on the MD camping trip. We had a blast last year and this year will be even better. I know, I know, there are a lot of you in Texas that could come if you want. So come on, sign up, meet some great people, enjoy a luau and a wedding. For about $100 total, less if you bring your own tent. How can you get a 4 day weekend for less??? This is a GREAT DEAL!

Check out the events forum--all the info is up there.
It will be at Sugar Valley Canoes in Indiana, From May 14-17. Many are arriving on Thursday and staying until Monday morning. There are cabins available at about $13 a night.Tentsites are available for a lot less, but I don't do tents so not sure how much a night that is. Food is about $7 per meal. You can meet a ton of great people, sit around a campfire, hike, eat, go to a wedding Sat. nite (and a luau).

I am working on my house, interior and exterior, working on my jewelry projects, organizing house and shop, taking fun and required classes for my businesses, having TONS of fun with my housemate.
I don't really need a vacation. I have been on one, in a holding pattern for years now. I really can't see the campout in my near future. It would cost a couple hundred in pet sitting fees for me to go. I would rather put that into my house repairs and upgrades...no offense to anyone. Thanks for the invite tho.

Lately, few people are posting anywhere, much less coming online to read any posts. I suppose they are working two and three low paying jobs to pay debts.

I work 12 hour days but still find time to come on here for a bit. Oh well, they'll never know what they missed out on. And at the price, it's a great bargain week end.
