Posts: 96 Okay I will start ..... For those of you that have not heard, Texas is asking to become our own country again.

Just asking what your thoughts are on this subject , since this is posted in the Texas bulletin and we all live in Texas.

With that being said it would concern all Texans.

I love this state what ever the future, born and raise Texas breed.

This is a big step. I think we better hear a lot more about this from our governor and representatives in the senate/congress before we even start to take such a thing seriously.

I'm honestly not sure what all the repercussions of such a thing would be, but I can imagine that a lot of Texans could be impacted. For example, what about all of the government money we receive for social security, unemployment compensation, healthcare, schools, etc.? What happens in this regard if we're on our own?

Posts: 19 the yankee govt, in Washington DC (District of Corruption) sends social Security checks to Americans living in foreign nations. So tho owed that here in Texas could recieve theirs........IF there is anything left by the time the neo-socialists running the country have any left. The other items are state run programs and could continue as they have been and who knows, maybe better with out the Federal govt. intervention. Texas has everything it needs to make it without the clowns up in D.C. I just wonder what we'd do with all the liberal scum that have moved in?????? I wonder if Oklahoma would accept them as wetback, illegal aliens if we drove them across the Red River?
