I have talked to some folks on here that just don't have it togeather,and decided that Drew Cary has it right..who's line is it any way..(who gives a s--t) you can talk for a few minutes and eventually you'll know if they're playing with a full deck or not or if they're gaming and you just let them talk, making complete idiots of themselves .. any man having a problem with weight,race,or women w/children just doesn't relize how selfish and self-centered he looks to the rest of the world ..I'm not a man hater but I don't like men without honor..and words are part of who you are..your word is your honor!!!

I'm not gonna say that I don't have preferences to my women, but those preferences I have come down to what she's like, not who she is or how she has lived her life. thats just wrong.
For example... lets say I meet "Shellie".... she's 32, lives alone with her 2 kids and a dog. She works for ABC Company doing something or another. she's 5'6'', a BBW, a smoker and social drinker. She likes to watch movies, go out to dinner and just plain have fun.
Upon writing to her, because I am interested, all she can do is complain about this or that. "Oh woe is me, my life sucks"...... "Nobody likes me..." blah blah blah....
That is the deal breaker. and unfortunately, she lost the deal.
Thats how it works with me.

this is true. but 9 times out of 10, men are FAR worse on a CONSTANT basis then women would ever try to be.

kid -- you are right of course -- honor is attractive, but there will be those of both genders who will still attempt to trash and abuse those honorable wo/men to whom they are attracted. It's not a gender thing, it is a human nature thing. The best you can do is to seek to maintain your own honor in the face of abuse. How to do that? Pehaps find a role model and imitate. I think also that focusing attention on the honorable rather than name-calling, judging or even acknowledging those less honorable is a better expenditure of energy.

Lacy;
Of course you're right,there's honor almost everyone unless they have no conscious,then there's no respect for others..I think it's a self satisfaction thing,and let's face it, who doesn't think of themselves first??it's human nature,along with self perservation,I just don't like when someone I.M's me and the first words out of their mouth is...are you horney??? what happened to hello???I guess it's the norm for any dating site..however I have met some nice folks too..I was just blasting and not at anyone in general..I am not a man hater!! I have 3 sons,and 6 grandsons that I love dearly..so man bashing wasn't the idea..

Ahahahaha, me too, no really I don't resent it. Personally, I think everyone has the right to express themselves exactly how they choose and I honor their choices. I do not necessarily choose to experience their choice of expression tho. I work at attracting to me those people that express themselves in a way that is compatible to me. Of course, that does not always happen, but my personal belief system also includes learning lessons. Now when you get hit up the side of the head several times by similar situations, are you going to learn to duck? Hope so, if not, well, I honor your learning curve as well.
