As a parent, what gross things will you do and to what extent will you go for your kids. We were outside, my 2 year old dropped his "pop", i brushed off what I could, then I put it in my mouth to get the rest off for him. He said, "thank you ma ma", I gave it to him and shuddered. What have u done for your child? Am I the only gross one out there?

Good to hear. I do that kind of stuff all of the time, and anyone that dosen't have kids and saw me might think that it is gross. You know, there isn't always a sink near by!! lol With the first child I wouldn't have done it, but Matthew is my third, and I'm just tired!!!

Uh huh done that. Blown their noses with just my fingers too and wiped it off on my pants or the soles of my shoes. Eaten disgusting things out of jars to make them believe it's good. Bitten their fingernails when they were tiny (recommended to me) so they wouldn't scratch themselves.

Angel-- I'm a single mom of just one and have done things like that. Even when she was little, she always hated the "spitwash"--when they have a something on their face, and you "wash" it off; letting her drink from my can or bottle even if she left backwash (ugh!) in it; kissed dirty knees with an "owie" so she could keep playing .........just all the lovely things we moms do!

I am a single mom of a two year old, and I have done all of that and more. My favorite one was putting the spoon of children's tylenol is my mouth first with a smile on my face to show him how good the grape juice tasted....then when he wasn't looking spitting it out...lol. Taking my sleeve and whiping my sons snotty runny nose (winter cold man...makes the nose run) on the sleeve of my dress coat made all the parents at my son's day care stare and wince. What do you want me to do....let it drip? It's funny, all of the things I wouldn't have even considerded doing and I am doing everyone of them. (I told my mom...I will never take my kids pacifier and put it in my mouth if it falls on the floor....I'll spread him germs) guess what....it took...oh a day for me to lick that pacifier.
a guy friend of mine told me that mom spit should be sold as cleaner, cuz it can get everything off of a kid.
lol

Hey Momma-- Never thought about that. Just think--we all could be millionaires if we could market "MomSpit"!
