I saw this on the news the other day. Apparently there have been several cases where pedophiles targeted women on dating sites who had children......and in a couple of the cases, they raped one of the children.
Be careful posting pictures of your kids on dating sites!!!
Better yet, do not post them.......do not go into detail about the ages of your children in your profile. If you meet someone, there will be plenty of time to discuss this information once you get to know them better.
Its a cruel world we live in, lets all try to take care of ourselves......and our children.

These guys are just sick. Seems like I'm hearing more and more about pedophiles these days and it's disgusting. I was channel surfing the other night and came across a program on NBC where they use a sting operation to lure pedophiles into thinking they are going to visit a young girl. Once there they are on national television and arrested when they leave.
It never fails to amaze me how stupid these guys are. Their whole life is ruined (as it should be) and families broken. They will go to almost any extent to lure or meet a child for sex. I don't understand the attraction they have for children. I know it's a sickness .... and calling it that is putting it mildly.
Anyway, ..... there is no cure or rehab for it. Maybe they should be put to sleep permantly.

I understand wanting to make it known you have children and what not, which can be done under the section in the profile that asks if you have children...i do not go into detail, others may thats fine. but i DO NOT understand posting your kids pictures to a dating site in the first place...philes or not it just seems like you are exploiting your child to draw attention to yourself....save that for private email!

Princess-I posted on another thread last year about one thing.
Almost every hospital now days has online nursery. You can easily look up child info there. The world of the internet is scary anymore.
I noted after my granddaughter was born, that they took the parent last names off-which was a good thing.

I had a man emailing me fairly regular about 4 or 5 months ago....and he always seemed to ask alot of questions referring to my child. I got suspicious and called him out on the carpet about it. He got offended and stopped emailing. He did me a favor! I also don't add people to my friends list I have never seen before.........
It already is quite a job being a single parent to have to worry about yet another danger to our children! Just use wisdom and go by your gut feeling.
That is usually telling you right!

ya know...i may just be a sick little freak...but i have one thought on the entire what should happen to pedophiles....or how ever you spell it.
exactly what they do to other people. torture, wound and terrify. yeah i know cutting it off would torture...but...that is not the same as some strange man...taking you out of your bed in the middle of the night, torturing you and raping you....possibly killing you...at a young age. if you aren't killed...imagine the fear you would have for the rest of your life. your own bed wouldn't be safe....your own home....that is what those sick @#$%@$%@$# are doing to our children. do it back.
and then have them hanged,drawn and quartered....or as george carlin said...give them all guns and let them shoot each other.
point is...they have no reason to be on this planet. none.YOU DON'T HARM CHILDREN.

Empath, at one time I also had pictures of my children.
A friend told me it would be a good idea to take them off.
I felt very stupid...they are just soooo darn cute...wanted to share with my friends on here. Now, i have them posted on a different sight that you have to be a "friend" to view. Only people that i know can see them
